This week's sweet treat: I'm going to try my hand at Panna Cotta sometime this week. I feel like a treat that doesn't involve the oven and it's something I've never made before. Stay tuned!

We just made lime cilantro shrimp kebabs, they were really good!
ReplyDeleteI haven't thought about this week much, but here I go:
Monday: Veggie tostadas with mango salsa
Tuesday: Buckwheat Buttermilk Blueberry pancakes
Wed: Strawberry spinach salads, grilled chicken for hubs salad:)
Thursday-Grilled Veggie packets with watermelon
Friday-Whole wheat veggie pizza
Saturday-Who knows?
That sounds like a delicious summer menu! You are inspiring me to get some more summer dishes on mine.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize you are writing regularly for Craft- that is awesome. I will throw in another vote for ya on the BlogLuxe awards!
Sounds like a yummy week of dinners....Don't you just love summer cooking?
ReplyDeleteWith everything else going on, I commend you for planning the menu! I do the same, it provides some structure to what can easily become a crazy, stressful week. Crazy and stressful is bad enough, who wants to "figure out what's for dinner" every night?
ReplyDeleteLet's see if I can remember my menu for this week:
Monday - Salmon Cilantro burgers
Tuesday - Orange Chicken and Shrimp Stir-Fry
Wednesday - Lamb Lemonato with Garlic Roasted Mashed Potatoes
and I can't remember past Wednesday! Anyway, good luck this week!
Those lemon and rosemary kebabs sound great - do you have a recipe for them? And I'd definitely say do the pizza homemade, nothing better than that! You should check out springpad's weekly meal planner - it's a great way to organize, collect and share your menus and recipes (like this: http://bit.ly/oFQc8) - I think you'll really like it!

Sounds really good! I love kebabs! And, yeah, definitely let us know how the Panna Cotta turns out.
ReplyDeleteP.S. My menu plan is up now at http://littlestuffoflife.blogspot.com/2009/06/on-menu-super-simple.html if you'd like to stop by.
I love panna cotta! It is one of my favorite desserts. Do you have a recipe you like?
ReplyDeleteGudrun - I don't have a recipe yet. I've actually never made (or eaten) it before! If you have one, send it my way please.
ReplyDeleteAmy - The Craft writing is new and super exciting! I will have 2 articles for June.
