Sonic Giveaway (Contest Closed)

It's summer and we're all so busy with the summer things we love to do. For us it's swim lessons, vacations, playing with friends at the park, BBQing, trips to the zoo, evening walks, and gardening. As much as I love to cook sometimes I just need a night off when we have a lot going on. And now 10 goodLife {eats} readers will have the opportunity for a night off as well. Head down to Sonic with family or friends (or by yourself, I won't tell) and sample the offerings from their menu - which now includes whole grain buns and the option for fruit in the kids meals.

The Rules:
  • Leave a comment on THIS post by 11:59 pm June 20th telling me what your favorite summertime activity is for a chance to win one of ten $25 Sonic Cards.
  • Anonymous comments: leave your email address and first name in the comments.
  • 10 random winners will be announced June 21st in celebration of the first official day of summer.
  • Contest is open to US Residents only.

    My favorite summertime activity was last year and is again this year just taking my daughter for long walks in the evening. It is so calming to push around her stroller and listen to her laugh and point when she sees something interesting. I love being there as she discovers her world.

    I love to go Bike riding on the Suwanee Trails with my daughter and Hubby! I live in GA and we have a ton of GREEN space! It is beautiful! So that is one of our FAVORITE things to do! WE pack lunch and off we go! plus it is a GREAT way to get activity!!

    My favorite summer activity is taking my six year old son to the town water park. We play for hours on the water slides and the fountains. I teach him how to swim. I work far from home and only see him on the weekends, so I always try to make it special for him!

    Sonic is good people. I am volunteer manager for Franklin Clasic, a race and a fund raiser that provides health care to children for Mercy Children's Clinic. Sonic provides all the ice and all the food for the volunteers, every year.

    My favorite summertime activities are gardening, walking the dog, and water fights.
    Gardening is the predominant one now with 27 tomato plants, more than 60 bean plants, cilantro, lettuce, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, 2 types of peas, potatoes, onions and broccoli. I spend a lot of time getting bitten by the bugs in the veggie garden, but adore my time in the flower garden.. and get to eat perfect tomatoes inside with the air conditioning... life just doesn't get much better!

    Love playing outside with the kiddos (1 and 3). Who cares if they get dirty, sweaty or wet from the hose? Its refreshing to take a dunk in the bath when its time to come in!

    I've heard the new sonic mango drink is awesome.

    My favorite summertime activity is waking up on a Saturday, working out, then while still sweaty getting a sonic drink (for reals) and donning a swim suit...laying out with friends from about 11-3, showering, dinner and a movie that night, showing off your sunburn. Perfect!

    Our favorite summertime activity is going to the big pool about 20 minutes away and spending the day splashing and playing with our kids and friends, or barbecuing on the grill in the backyard while the kids run through the sprinkler and the tiki torches are running full tilt to keep the pterodactyls masquerading as mosquitos at bay.
    All that is topped to perfection with cherry limeades and ocean water slushes ;-) Great giveaway!
