Aloha Smoothie and a Vacation

Yesterday was a hot one. Burned out on packing (I leave for Phoenix today), tired, and generally not having a lot of motivation to get anything done, I decided I needed a little pick-me-up. And it had to be something that would cool me off. I tossed some stuff in the blender and made a fruity cool smoothie.

I'll be back Sunday night, but you probably won't even notice I'm gone. goodLife {eats} will still be updated with the typical Monday-Friday posts while I'm off enjoying Wicked and doing other girly fun things while taking a break from being Mom. I'll be checking email when I can, but mostly I'm looking forward to some down time, even though Phoenix will surely be blazing. Have a great weekend and I'll catch you again Monday morning!

Aloha Smoothie
a goodLife {eats} creation

  • 1/2 c coconut milk, chilled
  • 1/4 c pineapple or orange juice
  • 1 c fresh pineapple, cut into chunks and frozen
  • 1 large kiwi
  • 2 Tbs orange marmalade
  • 3/4 c ice
Measure all ingredients into a blender and process until smooth. Enjoy on a hot day!
