My plans for pistachio
gelato are on hold. Have you heard? Another
food recall due to salmonella. I got a message last night from my mother-in-law letting me know that she had an idea why I haven't been able to find the
pistachio gelato we had tried a couple weeks ago. This morning I saw several messages on
Twitter warning about pistachios. Bummer! I haven't had much time to see if the ones I just purchased this week are affected, but for now I'll hold off on making the
gelato until I know for sure.

I heard this on the radio this morning. So annoying! Things like nuts and nut butters are a staple in our home and now I am afraid to feed these things to my kids.
