Summer has really messed up my organization. We're playing it by ear every week depending on our plans: summer camp, vacation, conferences, blogging trips, just staying home, etc. With just about 4 weeks until school starts and traveling out of the way, I am making a renewed effort to getting back on track and in tune with our old routine. And having a meal plan really helps with that.
Sunday: Orzo Pasta Salad
Monday: Grilled Pork and Pineapple Tacos (I got a pineapple for 99 cents the other day!)
Tuesday: Leftovers
Wednesday: Garlic-Ginger Shrimp Stir-Fry
Thursday: No-Bake Summertime Lasagna
Friday: Grilled Lemon-Pepper Chicken and Green Beans with Feta and Tomatoes (adapted from this recipe)
Saturday: BLTs or some other sandwich and fruit
No more scrambling for dinner once 5:00 rolls around and grocery shopping will be that much faster and simpler if I am able to make a list knowing before hand what we'll be eating that week. No more multiple trips to the grocery store for me. It's time to crack down!
P.S. Don't forget to enter the Feta Friday Giveaway. You have until 11:59 PM EST 7/19 to enter. It's a great prize pack worth $100 retail.
It always works. Saves you a lot of time and money.
ReplyDeleteyour menu looks fantastic! good luck getting organized :) summer is always fun but exhausting because of a lack of structure!
ReplyDeleteI think this week is going to be one of my favorite weeks. I love the list of the foods. They are all delicious and so yummy. Thank you for sharing this list.
ReplyDeleteI'm a schedule kinda person too. It's so satisfying planning out your day-by-day schedule so things aren't frantic when the time rolls around. Sounds like a plan! :)
